Cette image me trouble. Non seulement par son sujet, mais d’abord par sa forme. Elle me semble très rafistolée. Il est vrai que j’avais un peu malmené le magazine d’où provient la base de cette image. Bref, est balafrée, avec un zigzag comme celui de Zorro. Et les parties de visage ne semblent pas bien tenir à leur place, à vouloir glisser, se détacher.
Quant au contenu, je pense aux affres des devoirs, leçons et examens pour un dyslexique. Ici c’est comme si les informations heurtaient la personne physiquement ou la tourmentaient.
J’ai assisté à cela il y a quelques années et j’ai été bouleversé. Moi-même, quand on m’a forcé à écrire avec la main droite, j’ai eu quelque peine à garder les lettres propres (on écrivait à la plume) et de ne pas éclabousser le papier. Ce collage me démontre une sorte de compromis réussi : son rafistolage s’accorde avec son sujet en dramatisant l’image. C’est la première fois que cela se produit pour moi, de manière fortuite, comme d’habitude.

As for the content, I think of the horrors of homework, lessons and exams for a dyslexic. Here it is as if the information hurts the person or torments him or her.
I attended this a few years ago and I was upset. Myself, when I was forced to write with my right hand, I had some difficulty in keeping clean the letters (we wrote with a pen) and not splash the white paper. This collage shows me a kind of successful compromise: his tinkering is consistent with the subject by dramatizing the image. For the first time this has happened to me, by pure chance, as usual.
