C’est censé être l’aventure au guidon d’un vélo, en sortant de la ville qu’on transporte avec soi. Mais   le véhicule est embourbé, la femme a les deux pieds par terre. La progression est arrêtée, c’est bloqué. Il y a cependant le désir de s’arracher, de s’élever le plus haut possible, même si cela reste au niveau de la pensée. La femme semble humer un peu de l’air d’aventure.  L’autre personnage à la casquette d’ouvrier est passif, il se fait véhiculer, ses jambes ont raccourci et il occupe la place d’un chien ou d’un chat dans ce panier. D’ailleurs la femme le tient de son bras protecteur. Il reste un passager passif. Un 3^e personnage se tient au fond et semble enjamber une colline. Il marque un moment d’hésitation : J’y vais ou pas ? Il est seul et regarde vers un possible avenir, alors que les 2 autres demeurent accrochés à leur passé gris et pluvieux. L’avenir n’est pas forcément radieux – il y a d’ailleurs des nuages de pluie dans ce ciel, mais ils peuvent passer et dégager le ciel. Qui sait ?

 

 

It's supposed to be the adventure riding a bike, going out of town that one carries with oneself. But the vehicle is stuck, the woman has both feet on the ground. The progression is stopped, it is blocked. There is however a desire to snatch, to rise as high as possible, even if it remains at the level of thought. The woman seems to breathe a little air of adventure. The other character with the worker cap is passive, is conveyed, his legs shortened and occupies the place of a dog or cat in the basket. Besides the woman holds him by her protective arm. He remains a passive passenger. A third character stands in the background and seems to step over a hill. He marks a moment of hesitation: Shall I go or not? He is alone and looks toward a possible future, while the other 2 are still clinging to their gray and wet past. The future may not be bright - there are rain clouds in the sky for sure, but they pass by and clear the sky. Who knows?
